The owner was staying with people until the 'pup' did something and then they were asked to leave. It sounded like the pup (almost 8 months old) spent a lot of time in his crate. He is a bit on the shy side, but does have a really good heart. I do have to say though, that the owner did right by the dog in all aspects of medical care. I feel it was a hard decision to make, yet wanted the best for the dog. I also feel that the dog would not have done well, at all, in a shelter. I'm glad that he did not have to go that route, as he would not have been able to handle it, in my opinion. He does need time, patience and socialization. Our adoption fee ($250) covers the age appropriate spay / neutering, heart worm testing, rabies, distemper combo, microchipping and any other necessary medical that a dog may need.
